Trail of Faith Farms (TOFF) sees the powerful and positive effects of pairing an American Hero with an American Icon. We felt it necessary for our veteran and mustang program to have its own distinct name. So, without further a due, Operation No Longer a Number is TOFF's official name of our veteran program. Operation No Longer a Number is a program where we pair a wild mustang with a military veteran to offer healing and fulfillment in a non-traditional, therapeutic way. Whether horse or human, you are defined by more than your last four. TOFF is a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) approved facility. The horse trainer on-site is also an approved TIP (Trainer Incentive Program) Trainer through the BLM and Mustang Heritage Foundation. The trainer, Jessica Shively, is 1 of 4 certified Mustang Trainers in North Carolina. Jessica's approval through these organization's allows her to pick up un-gentled mustangs, bring them back to TOFF, and start the gentling and training process. The inspiration for this design came from a particular un-gentled mustang that Jessica had the honor to gentle in 2021, among many others. TOFF named this mustang Abednego. Jessica felt Abednego was the perfect ambassador for the veteran program as he was drawn more so to veteran's and veterans to him. Often times visitors would say how Abednego's eyes just spoke volume 's to them. With little effort Abednego's soft eyes gentled many hearts. If you would like more information on participating in Operation No Longer a Number, please contact Trail of Faith Farms directly. TOFF also has various scholarships throughout the year to include covering the cost of this program! Pictured below is Abednego through his training process. He was successfully adopted out to a fabulous owner with a bright future ahead. Trail of Faith Farms is excited to announce in offering 20 individuals a scholarship opportunity for the year 2020. We are happy to announce for the year 2020, TOFF will have the opportunity to offer riding scholarships to select applicants!!!! Details coming soon. Make sure to check out this website and Facebook page for updates on when the application will be available! I had to make one of the most difficult decisions the night of Friday October 20th, 2017. I want to say first, I appreciate all the prayers for Fancy. They did not go unheard. Fancy has been fighting for the last week and gave it all she had. To keep it short, the vet came out for the final time last night, did a few ultrasounds, discovered some rupturing and a few other things that were unexplained. My heart was telling me to postpone the inevitable, however the holy spirit within me was telling me don't allow her to suffer. I feel all the other horses around knew something was going on as they seemed to say their goodbyes. So I chose the most humane thing and let her go. I praise God for giving me the privilege to care for this amazing animal, she had such a beautiful spirit. She touched many lives and hearts and she will truly be missed. Fancy girl was such a willing partner and a good girl and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I find comfort in knowing, I'll see you again someday🐎💜 Ecclesiastes Ch. 3, there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven, all go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return Rest in Peace Fancy girl ---June 1, 1997 to Oct. 20, 2017--- The below verbiage is taken from a shared Facebook post. As the farm continues to grow with our new facility, more equines, and our training program, We can't thank you all enough for the support and for choosing us for your Equine needs. So again thank you! We pray we continue to grow and He fulfills all that is needed, to accommodate all our clients. So again thank you. We are always in need of donations such as: -Coastal hay to feed the horses and goats -Sawdust or stall shavings or anything else that you may think will be useful. Good evening ya'll! The Lord has laid a few words on my heart to share. So let's get this started. Regardless if you are a Christian or not, you matter to us! We do not force anyone to believe the way we do and those who know us, can testify. We cherish everyone that we cross paths with. I want to say thank you again, as you can never say thank you enough, to all those who volunteer and continue to support T.O.F.F. I watched a phenomenal movie last night which has lead me to this particular blog. What was the movie you ask? Great question! Gods Not Dead 2. This movie portrays a lot of current incidents that go on in today's society; well you just need to watch it to find out the rest. Anyway the purpose of this writing, to inform ya'll we have an intention. An intention to encourage you if you need it, to share our testimony with you when its needed, to share Christ by being uplifting, not condescending or to lecture, and to stand firm on His word; all the while horses are in the mix. We are at war with the powers of this world, not the flesh. One of my favorite scriptures, Put on the Full Armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-14 Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the Devil's schemes. Stand firm: 1. Belt of truth buckled around your waist 2. Breastplate of righteousness 3. Feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (The gospel of peace is the message that Jesus gave to those who trust in Him) 4. Shield of Faith, which will extinguish all flaming arrows of the evil one 5. Helmet of Salvation 6.Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God(Your Bible) Pray in the Spirit on all occasions about everything and everyone. The most you can do is pray. Know that you are never alone, God is always with you. Romans 10:10-13 Confess your sins to God, He knows your heart, proclaim with your voice that he died for your sins and that you are saved. Hey Y'all! So we have taken the big leap and TOFF is officially full-time! TOFF will be offering all services year round. God is so good as He has blessed us with a beautiful barn. We now offer training and lessons Monday thru Saturday. Please contact us for specific times, to schedule lessons and/or training, or for any other questions. We are now in the process with working with a couple of organizations so we can be a direct resource in offering Equine-assisted therapy for them. We ask for continued prayers as we are now saving up for a wheelchair ramp and a nice covered arena. We want to thank everyone, past and present that's volunteered and/or donated equipment. We pray for the continued support. Thank you and God bless ya'll! Trail of Faith Farms is happy to announce ALL lessons will start June 1! Please contact for available times.
